To create the blinds i started off with a box. I made this box the height of the window and narrowed it down to 0.010 meters. I then Copied it across many times and grouped them together. Having done this, I added a texture that I built for the blinds in Photoshop which consisted of a pink square with a slightly grainy effect on it.
Having done that, i had to create a cover for my blinds. To do this i made a rectangle shape, i converted it into an editable poly and extruded it in the minus so it would have a hole in it. This was then placed on top of the blinds and textured like the window frames.

The Hair and fur modifier was then applied. The settings were made so that the fair would look fluffy while not looking too thick. The strands were coloured pink with the tips being white to give off a realistic look.

After making the shell of the room, I needed to insert window frames and then the glass in the window. To make the frame, I designed afew L-Ext pieces together to make the outer frame and grouped them together. I then used extrude modifiers to create the additional frames that go horizontally and vertically. As you can see below, a window material was also made with had the properties of glass.
